Sibling rivalry has helped push Jade O’Dowda to the top of her sport.

The heptathlete is the younger sister of Cardiff City and Republic of Ireland footballer, Callum.

The 23-year-old showed signs of the form which saw her break into the world’s top 40 for the Heptathlon in 2018.

A run of personal bests secured her a spot at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham where she went on to win bronze and share the podium with gold medallist Katarina Johnson-Thompson.

Athletics and Para-Athletics
In front of a 30,000 strong crowd at the newly refurbished Alexander Stadium, Team England picked up a host of medals at Birmingham 2022.
