A meteoric rise saw Jacob Mills crowned the fastest Brit in water this April.

In just 12 months, Mills has cemented his spot as one-to-watch in the pool, becoming the 2026 British champion over 50m freestyle in a new personal best of 21.91.

At the World Junior Championships in 2025, the teenager stormed to an incredible four silver medals and one bronze, finishing runner-up in both the 50m and 100m freestyle.

The Repton swimmer has committed to the Manchester Performance Centre for the upcoming season and will be making his Commonwealth Games debut in Glasgow looking to clinch a maiden senior international medal.

Swimming and Para-Swimming
Tom Dean aka “The SubmaDean” followed up his double Olympic triumph at Tokyo 2020 by making history in Birmingham, becoming the first Home Nations athlete to win seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games.
