Issy Wong may have a storied family history, but the bowler is now making headlines of her own.
Wong boasts a number of former Hong Kong international cricketers and a former spy awarded the King's Medal for Service in the Cause of Freedom in her family.
The Birmingham native represented Team England as women's cricket made its debut in her home city in 2022, taking four wickets as she produced figures of two for 10 in two matches, against Sri Lanka and New Zealand respectively.
Wong helped England to the bronze medal match at Birmingham 2022, where they lost to New Zealand.
The pacer made her England Test debut against South Africa, after impressing for Warwickshire and Central Sparks, as well as franchise appearances for Sydney Thunder and Birmingham Phoenix.
Wearing shirt number 95 in ode to her love of Lightning McQueen from the Pixar film Cars, Wong is also able to solve a Rubik's cube in just a few seconds.
