Commonwealth Appearances
Social

One of her nation's greatest ever cricketers, England captain Heather Knight will be looking to add a Commonwealth gold medal to her trophy cabinet this summer.

Knight led her nation to Cricket World Cup glory on home soil in 2017 - and the final again earlier this year in New Zealand - as well as playing in multiple Ashes series against Australia.

Domestically, she twice captained Western Storm to victory in the Kia Super League and in Australia won the Women’s Big Bash League with Sydney Thunder.

However, it is when the 31-year-old represents her country that she truly shines, being the first England player to score an international century in all three formats of the game.

Cricket
Cricket is one of the quintessential English sports, which was first included in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
