Hannah Nuttall heads to her first Commonwealth Games having established herself at the top table of 5000m running.

Nuttall has won the last three British titles over the distance and bounced back from narrowly missing out on the Paris 2024 Olympics by earning her place at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo.

She reached the final and finished eighth in Japan, crowning a year where she set personal bests over both 3000m and 5000m.

Nuttall took that form into 20206, twice lowering her indoor 3000m personal best before breaking the championship record at the UK Indoor Champs.

Her impressive senior career comes after spending time in the US at the University of New Mexico before returning to the UK to work under Commonwealth bronze medallist Helen Clitheroe.

Athletics and Para-Athletics
In front of a 30,000 strong crowd at the newly refurbished Alexander Stadium, Team England picked up a host of medals at Birmingham 2022.
