A no-nonsense player, Grace Balsdon was joint-top scorer as Team England sealed a historic Commonwealth Games gold medal in Birmingham in 2022.

In her second Commonwealth Games, the 29-year-old went two better than the bronze medal she won in Gold Coast four years ago.

Balsdon made her international debut at the age of 20 and has been a mainstay of the Great Britain and England teams since 2017.

Outside of hockey, the Kent native is a keen baker and also collects vinyl records.
