Guard Georgia Gayle is one of the new faces in Team England’s 3x3 basketball team as she makes her Commonwealth Games debut.
She comes to Glasgow off the back of a successful season with hometown team Sheffield Hatters as they won the SLB Cup in April, with Gayle named MVP following the final against Manchester.
She was also MVP in the Hatters’ SLB title-winning campaign in 2024/25 as she inspired her side – where she has spent most of her career bar a brief spell in Spain - to a play-off final victory over Oaklands Wolves.
Gayle, who has 18 Great Britain caps in the five-a-side format, and is aiming for further success with what is a strong Team England.

For the first time 3x3 Running Basketball and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball joined the Commonwealth Games roster.
