Erin Barton took up weightlifting aged 30, and six years later will make her Commonwealth Games debut for Team England.
After taking up CrossFit, Barton found and fell in love with weightlifting and won British Championship gold in the 71kg category three years later.
Since then, she has continued to go from strength to strength, with European and world championship appearances.
Barton was first-reserve for Birmingham 2022 but steps up for her maiden Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
