Lizzie Bird first burst onto the scene in 2019, finishing second in the British Championships, and hasn’t looked back since. 

She impressively followed that up with a win in the 2021 edition before recording a ninth-place finish in the Olympic final at her first Games last summer.

Bird set a new national record in the 3000m steeplechase in 2022, and went on to claim Commonwealth Games silver in Birmingham.
