Nicknamed ‘The Claw’ because of her catching style, deadeye shooter Eleanor Cardwell will be a crucial part of England’s Roses at Birmingham 2022.

Cardwell, who began netball life as a defender, has evolved into one of the most dominant attacking forces in the Vitality Netball Superleague.

She scored 641 goals and was named fans’ and players’ player of the season en route to lifting her fourth league title with Manchester Thunder.
