The fastest British woman in history is a title that belongs to Dina Asher-Smith.
She is the national record holder in both the 100m and 200m, and for good measure, was part of both relay teams that share the 4x100m relay records too.
She has been at the top of her best for over a decade and shows no signs of slowing down as she continues to reach major finals in both the 100m and 200m.
Asher-Smith's previous senior Commonwealth Games experience came in 2018 where she won relay gold and 200m bronze.
The Orpington native also tasted success at Commonwealth Youth level, doing the 200m and 4x100m relay double.
Representing Great Britain, Asher-Smith was memorably crowned 200m world champion in 2019, and has five other world medals in her collection.
Add to that, her three Olympic relay medals and staggering eight European medals, including doing the triple in 2018.
Away from the track, she has almost as many accolades, featuring in British Vogue, having a Barbie made of her likeness and appearing in the rapper Dave’s music video for the song ‘Black’.
