At the age of just 25, Daryll Neita had already achieved an awful lot in her athletics career and in Birmingham she added not one but two medals.

Neita was part of the 4x100m team that won gold at their home Games, originally crossing the line for silver but later upgraded to the title of Champions in 2023.

The sprinter also went on to win bronze in the individual 100m, before winning bronze in Munich in the European Championships.

A three-time World Championships medallist and two-time Olympic Games bronze medallist, Neita won gold in the European Championships in Berlin in 2018 to add to the silver in 2016.

On 22 July 2016, Neita broke the British record for 4x100m, alongside Asha Philip, Desiree Henry and Dina Asher-Smith, with 41.81 seconds
