Danny Sidbury first started wheelchair racing aged eight, though a family move to Spain two years later seemingly put an end to his time on the track.

However after returning to London ten years later, Sidbury decided he wanted to race in the London Marathon - and the rest is history.

Having completed the 26.2 miles around the capital on multiple occasions, he represented Team GB for the first time at European and Paralympic level in 2021.

2022 brought his Commonwealth Games bow, with the T54 racer winning silver for Team England.

Athletics and Para-Athletics
In front of a 30,000 strong crowd at the newly refurbished Alexander Stadium, Team England picked up a host of medals at Birmingham 2022.
