Dan Bigham soared to a stunning silver medal in the men's team pursuit at Birmingham 2022.

Alongside teammates Charlie Tanfield, Ethan Vernon and Oliver Wood, the track cyclist picked up a dramatic second place behind New Zealand.

At the 2022 World Championships, Bigham went one step further and won gold in the team pursuit, later picking up two silvers at the 2023 European Championships.

Bigham is one of the leading aerodynamicists in cycling, founded on an academic background in engineering.

Describing himself as a ‘general nerd’, Bigham has worked as a consultant for the Danish national team and leading trade team Jumbo Visma.

The Staffordshire native is no slouch on a bike himself, finishing 16th in the time trial at the World Championships in 2021.
