Birmingham 2022 saw Chris Latham double up on his Commonwealth Games bronze medals.

Bate clinched bronze alongside two-time Olympian Stephen Bate in the Men's Tandem B 1000m Time Trial at his home Games.

The 28-year-old had previously taken home the third prize in the men’s 15km scratch race on the Gold Coast in 2018.

Latham began his professional journey with three seasons riding for the WIGGINS team before joining ONE Pro Cycling in 2018.

His seven years as a pro have seen him gain experience on both the road and track, culminating in his inclusion on SwiftCarbon Pro Cycling for the 2021 season.

The Bolton native competed in the Volta a Portugal and Tour of Britain last term while he previously finished in the top three at the 2016 Grand Prix Cerami.
