Home Games don't come much closer than for Birmingham-born Chris Griffiths, and the forward marked it in style with a second Commonwealth bronze.

Part of the bronze medal team on the Gold Coast in 2018, Griffiths is known as one of the nicest people in hockey and has now well over a century of international caps.

Griffiths is a mainstay of both England and Great Britain sides, fulfilling his Olympic dream at Tokyo 2020 after cruelly missing out on Rio 2016.
