Plenty of firsts are in order for Chantelle Handy this year, Handy has been named as Caledonia Gladiators’ first-ever signing as they join the Women’s British Basketball League. 

But before that, the Consett-born forward will be part of Team England’s first 3x3 women’s basketball squad at Birmingham 2022. 

Handy has plied her trade internationally most recently at TTT Riga, winning the Baltic Championships, but is no stranger to home Games having represented Great Britain at the London Olympics in 2012.
