Double Commonwealth Games silver medallist and avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter Cameron Kurle has already achieved a lot in the pool.

Kurle, alongside Nicholas Grainger, Jarvis Parkinson and James Guy, secured a silver medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay, behind Australia who broke a Games record to win gold, while he also claimed silver in the 4x100m event, again losing to Australia, though he did not race in the final.

Kurle wasn’t done there in 2018 though, winning a gold medal and a bronze medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay and the 4x200m freestyle mixed relay in the European Championships in Glasgow.

At the age of just 17, Kurle took gold in the 2015 European Games in Baku in the 4x100m freestyle event.

Tom Dean aka “The SubmaDean” followed up his double Olympic triumph at Tokyo 2020 by making history in Birmingham, becoming the first Home Nations athlete to win seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games.
