Twards the end of his final year in his Engineering Master’s at Bath University, you would think Cameron Brooker has enough on his plate.

Instead, the Aylesbury native set a new university championships record in the 200m backstroke and will be heading to the Commonwealth Games as part of a stacked English swimming team.

He took home bronze in the 50m backstroke at the 2026 GB Swimming Championships, with a time of 24.85.
