Commonwealth Appearances

Bruce Dee is ready for his Commonwealth Games debut at Glasgow 2026 after a rapid rise to the top in the pool.

Dee made his international debut in 2024 before earning selection for the Paris 2024 Paralympics later that year.

He won silver in the S6 200m individual medley medal at his maiden European Championships before earning another silver at the World Championships a year later in the mixed 4x100m medley relay.

His inexorable rise continued when he clocked a new S6 100m breaststroke world record of 1:19.80 in December 2025, a month after being named Para Swimming Emerging Athlete of the Year by Aquatics GB

Swimming and Para-Swimming
Tom Dean aka “The SubmaDean” followed up his double Olympic triumph at Tokyo 2020 by making history in Birmingham, becoming the first Home Nations athlete to win seven medals at a single Commonwealth Games.
