Ben Williams bounced back from missing out on the 2018 Games through injury to finish ninth at Birmingham 2022.

The triple-jumper jumped 16.03m at the Alexander Stadium before going on to finish sixth at the European Championships later that summer.

The Stoke-born athlete also saw injury miss the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games but an impressive season in 2019 saw a personal best jump of 17.14m and qualification for Tokyo 2020, where he finished 22nd.
