Commonwealth Appearances

Ahead of her fifth Commonwealth Games appearance, Amy Pharaoh was named as one of the inaugural inductees to the World Bowls Hall of Fame in 2025.

The Lincolnshire native was recognised for her distinguished career and has remained at the top of her game since she rose to prominence by reaching the English Nationals triples final at just 14.

Since breaking onto the scene in 1993, Pharoah has represented Team England at four Commonwealth Games, winning a medal each time.

After bronzes at Manchester 2002 and Melbourne 2006, the teacher struck gold at Delhi 2010, winning alongside Ellen Falkner in the pairs.

After 12 years away from the Commonwealth stage, Pharoah returned to the podium with silver in Birmingham 2022 alongside Sophie Tolchard and will compete in pairs once more at Glasgow 2026 alongside Sian Honnor.

Bowls and Para Bowls
It was a hugely successful campaign at Leamington Spa’s Victoria Park and some thrilling games saw Team England leave the plush lawn with six medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze.
