Amy Carter, as both a doctor and midcourter international, is always on her toes.
Carter debuted for Manchester Thunder in 2018 and was part of the Netball Super League winning side that claimed glory a year later.
After missing the 2022 season through an ACL injury, she bounced back and became a must-have in the North West side’s seven, and established herself as one of the NSL’s most reliable centres.
Carter progressed into the England senior squad after earning her stripes at all junior age grades, making her senior debut in 2020 and winning gold medals in the 2024 Taini Jamison Trophy Series and 2025 Netball Nations Cup.
Outside of netball, Carter is a doctor having studied medicine at the University of Manchester and says that she enjoys having another focus to help stay out of routine, which she says she hates.
