Commonwealth Appearances

Ama Pipi’s first taste of Commonwealth action came in front of a home crowd in Birmingham.

And despite 4x400m relay disqualification in 2022, the sprinter was back on the podium once more at the World Athletics Championships just one year later.

Pipi was part of the squad that soared to bronze in Budapest in a season's best time of 3:21.04.

Pipi has emerged as a force in British sprinting in recent years, claiming the 200m indoor crown in 2020 and a silver in the 4x400m relay at the European Indoor Championships last year.

Coached by former Olympic champion, Linford Christie, she has run for Enfield and Haringey Athletics Club since 2007.

Athletics and Para-Athletics
In front of a 30,000 strong crowd at the newly refurbished Alexander Stadium, Team England picked up a host of medals at Birmingham 2022.
