Former Hermes worker and pole vaulter Adam Hague delivered the goods at Birmingham 2022, bringing home a pole vault silver medal.

Hague agonisingly came fourth on the Gold Coast in 2018, but in the build up to Birmingham found his best height since 2020 to meet the qualification criteria and earn the chance to go one better in the Midlands.

Kimberworth-based Hague balances training six days a week with his job as a delivery driver for Evri in the Conisbrough area.
