Artistic gymnast Abi Martin is set to make her Commonwealth Games debut in Glasgow.
Her Team England bow comes just two years after she competed at her maiden Olympic at Paris 2024 – a feat she achieved before receiving her GCSE results.
Martin was part of the Team GB squad that finished fourth in the women's team event in the French capital aged just 16.
Despite only recently becoming age-eligible for senior competition, she already boasted a silver medal from the 2024 European Championships in Rimini before arriving in Paris.
Born and raised in Paignton, Devon, Martin added a World Championship medal to her name in 2025 when she took bronze in the floor exercise in Jakarta.
