Team England has set the pace ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games, confirming a dynamic para athletics squad ready to make its mark in Glasgow.
The squad brings together a blend of proven medallists and exciting new talent, reflecting the strength and depth of para athletics across the country. Among those returning to the Commonwealth stage are multiple gold medallists Dan Greaves, Sophie Hahn and Nathan Maguire, all of whom will be looking to add to their medal collections in Glasgow.
Hahn heads into her third consecutive Games, having previously claimed T38 100m gold at Gold Coast 2018 before securing silver in Birmingham four years later. Greaves returns to Glasgow 12 years on from his memorable gold medal performance in 2014, while Maguire will defend his T54 1500m title after standing on top of the podium at Birmingham 2022.
They are joined by fellow medallists Zac Shaw and Danny Sidbury, who both impressed with podium finishes at the last Games, adding further experience to a squad packed with competitive pedigree.

Alongside the established names, a number of debutants will make their Commonwealth Games bow this summer. Rising stars Maddie Down and Bebe Jackson step up after standout performances at the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, where Down secured double gold in the 100m and long jump, and Jackson claimed silver in the discus.
Paralympic champion Thomas Young is also set for his Commonwealth debut, joined by fellow Paralympians Karim Chan, Hetty Bartlett and Kevin Santos, underlining the exciting mix of youth and experience within the team.

Team England Chef de Mission Jonathon Riall said: “I’m delighted that we will be bringing such a strong para-athletics squad to Glasgow 2026. The squad is truly representative of England, being drawn from all corners of the country and will compete across a wide range of events. It also boasts a wide range of experience, from Commonwealth champions to major Games debutants, each with a unique story to tell this summer.”
England Athletics team leader Scott Grace added: “It is fantastic to welcome the first athletes to the team ahead of what will be an exciting summer in Glasgow. The athletes and their personal coaches have all been working hard across last year and the winter to secure their spot.
“The team is made up of athletes with such a wide breadth of experiences. I would like to extend my congratulations to the athletes' clubs, personal coaches, and families, as their dedication and support has had a huge contribution on the athlete's journey so far and will continue to throughout the Games in Glasgow.”
