THE SECOND CITY TURNS OUT TO WELCOME THE BATON AS DAY THREE OF THE QBR GETS UNDERWAY

Table tennis and badminton were on the agenda first thing this monring as the Queen's Baton Relay arrived in Victoria Square, Birmingham.

Its second stop was Sunset Park where crowds of school children gathered to cheer the baton down the steps, all in support of Team England.

The sport doesn't end there as next stop is Holders Lane Playing Fields where members of the public can try their hand at archery, rounders, athletics and hockey.
