Rebekah Tiler

England weightlifting record holder that came fourth at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow at the age of 15, and won gold in the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa.

Welcoming

I love how welcoming everyone is in England – it’s like a big family and everyone is so supportive.

Adam Peaty

English swimmer from Derby who won two gold medals at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow

Countryside and smell

What do I love about England? I love the countryside and the smell of England. I have gone abroad to all these great countries like Australia, Dubai etc. but nothing beats England.

Pamela Cookey

Former England Netball captain who has two Commonwealth bronze medals to her name

Different seasons

Those autumnal days where it’s cold but dry and all the leaves have dropped and there are lots of greens and browns – those are the days that I love.

Similarly, I love a beautiful summer’s day where we have the lovely greenery and lakes and the differentiation of the seasons is incredible
