UPDATE:  We are delighted to inform you that the mascot has now been named "Fletch" and has travelled to India with the team...we wish them all luck.

The English Archery Team for the Commonwealth Games have adopted the bear in the picture as their mascot for the Games but he/she needs a name!

They are asking for your suggestions as to what the name of the bear should be. If you would like to suggest a name, please e-mail the following address: [email protected]

They have already received some name suggestions from the team members, but would like your input too! Sadly there are no prizes, but they thought you might like to enter into the spirit of competition.

The team leave for India between the 24th and 26th of September so the closing date is 21st September.
