Shot put legend Scott Lincoln returned to Team England to add another Commonwealth medal to his collection.
Lincoln won shot put bronze at Birmingham 2022 and repeated that at Glasgow 2026, where he was also voted team captain by his fellow athletes.
The two-time Olympian has dominated the British men’s shot put scene for over a decade but Commonwealth bronze was his first senior international medal.
He has since gone from strength to strength, edging closer to two-time Commonwealth champion Geoff Capes’ British record.
He finished eighth at the 2025 World Athletics Championships before sealing another pair of national indoor and outdoor titles in 2026.
