Lucy Robinson went into her first Commonwealth Games having established herself as one of the country’s best wheelchair basketballers.
She backed that up at Glasgow 2026 as Team England claimed gold in the wheelchair women's 3x3 basketball tournament.
Robinson is a two-time Paralympian and three-time European silver medallist, and started playing the sport after a budding football career was halted by long-term hip condition, avascular necrosis.
She immediately excelled on court and came through the Great Britain pathway, combining her primary education studies at Sheffield Hallam University with her sporting exploits
