A double European crown sits on Josie Knight's head ahead of her second Commonwealth Games at Glasgow 2026.
The endurance cyclist will head to Scotland as the reigning European champion, national champion and world record holder in the individual pursuit and she will be intent on adding the Commonwealth title to that list.
She arrives in Glasgow in excellent form, having broken the world record in the individual pursuit in February 2026, becoming the first woman to break the 4:20 barrier.
Knight lists Leonardo DiCaprio as her favourite actor and played a strong game of ‘Catch Me If You Can’ at her maiden Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The cyclist clinched bronze in the women's team pursuit alongside Dame Laura Kenny, Maddie Leech and Sophie Lewis for Team England, beating out Wales in a narrow bronze medal contest.
Knight was part of the team pursuit quartet who claimed silver at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 for Team GB, cementing her place as a top class athlete for a cyclist who originally represented Ireland - having spent her childhood in County Kerry - before being accepted on to the GB academy programme in 2019.
She quickly went on to win the national individual pursuit title in January 2020, before going on to win back-to-back world team pursuit titles in 2023 and 2024.
Knight boasts seven world and seven European medals in total, exactly half of which are gold.
