As an eight-year-old, Freya Colbert attended the British Swimming Olympic Trials as a spectator as competitors looked to seal their spot at London 2012.
Now, she's a Commonwealth Games silver medallist, building on helping Team England to a brilliant bronze medal in the women's 4x200m freestyle in Birmingham alongside teammates Freya Anderson, Abbie Wood and Tamryn van Selm.
Colbert and Anderson then linked up with Eva Okaro and Leah Schlosshan in Glasgow in 2026 to secure silver in the women's 4x100m freestyle and added two more silvers as part of the mixed 4x100m freestyle and women's 4x200m freestyle team.
Other career highlights so far include winning gold in the 4x200m freestyle at the European Championships in 2022 and silver at the 2024 World Championships in Doha.
It was in Qatar that she claimed the biggest title of her career - gold in the 400m medley - but she narrowly missed out on a medal in the same event at the Paris Olympics that same year.
