Amelie Blocksidge made her Commonwealth Games debut in Glasgow after two years of adding to her bulging medal cabinet.
As the British 800m freestyle champion for three years running, and 1500m champion for four years, Blocksidge has become one of England's top long-distance swimmers.
Five medals at the European Junior Championships underline her pedigree at international level to and she has had to juggle exams and school pressure to maintain her performances.
